Cooking Beets Greens

What goes with beets?

I have a recipe for a nutty beet salad that I want to try but am having a hard time thinking of a main dish to go with it. The ingrediants in the salad include
-red wine vinegar
-cooked beets
-apples
-lemon juice
-mixed salad greens
-picans

and a yogurt dressing. I was thinking about maybe some kind of turkey dish, but I’m not to sure.

I like beets with cold beef or lamb in sandwiches, or as a side if I have beef cold cuts as part of a salad.
I hadn’t considered turkey but I think it would go well, instead of cranberry jelly etc.
