Whitetail Deer Maine woods have long been known for their abundance of wildlife, especially whitetail deer. Our deer hunts take place in several remote and big woods areas of Maine. Four Points Guide Service offers fully-guided and semi-guided hunts. We use tree stands, still hunting, and tracking in order to find theseever elusive creatures. If you’re a new hunter to the Maine woods then we recommend a fully-guided hunt. We also provide educational hunting experiences for new young hunters. (Season October - December depending on type of hunting.) Rabbit If you’re more interested in the thrill of the chase and a fast-paced hunting experience then rabbit hunting is for you! Our hunts take place in well-covered areas where the rabbits are abundant. A guided hunt with my award winning dogs will be an experience you will not soon forget! (Season October - March.) Waterfowl Duck season runs from October to late December. There are a few weeks within that time period when hunting is restricted. Duck hunts take place in boats on lakes and with a full spread of decoys. Goose season is from September to December and again with a few weeks during that time when hunting is restricted. We hunt geese on land from blinds in corn fields with decoys.
